Rajburi Ethanol

Located in Ban Pong Ratchaburi, Thailand, Rajburi Ethanol started production in 2008. This multi-feedstock plant produces 150,000 liters per day of motor fuel grade ethanol (MFGE). C-molasses, cane juice and cassava chips are used as feedstocks to optimize economics and take advantage of seasonal availability. Capital investment was minimized by using the same fermentation and distillation equipment for all three feedstocks. The robust KATZEN-designed molasses processing system greatly reduces the shutdown frequency for equipment cleaning.

KATZEN provided to Rajburi the process design package, construction liaison, training, start-up, and operations support services.
