Cellulosic Technology

Cellulosic Technology

KATZEN has worked with cellulose feedstocks for production of ethanol as well as other useful products for more than 60 years - including at pilot scale, demonstration scale, and commercial reality. Our breadth of knowledge stems from our long and successful history in the pulp and paper and specialty chemical industries. This history together with recent developments has enabled KATZEN to participate in more than 100 biomass-related projects including but not limited to furfural (10+), biomass (including pretreatment) (50+), pulp (50+), and enzyme production (5). Below is a sampling of the many and varied projects to which KATZEN has contributed. For a comprehensive list of our cellulose experience, contact us.
